API3 (API3) Wallet

API3 is a project implemented to create, manage and monetize decentralized versions of APIs of any scale. To achieve this in a fully decentralized way, participants' incentives will be aligned with the management, security and cost collection capabilities of the API3 token. The project will have a fully open and direct governance model, in which any API3 token owner will be able to bid for direct voting rights in the API3 DAO. In addition, the tokens will receive a portion of the revenue from dAPI. Decentralized oracle network solutions use third-party oracles because API vendors often cannot manage their own oracle nodes. This makes third-party oracles costly intermediaries and creates an additional attack surface. To eliminate these problems and ensure that API vendors continue to participate in the ecosystem, API3 data streams will consist of the first third-party oracles managed by API vendors. This will be made possible by Airnode, a completely serverless oracle node that requires no know-how, maintenance or care from the API provider. The resulting dAPIs will be cost-effective and protected from third-party attacks.
