Synchronising your account on different devices

You will be able to restore your account on any device if you have your password and backup code. Your backup is encrypted with AES, and the key to that encryption is your password. This means that on its own, your backup does not reveal any crucial information to a third party, and they will not be able to use it to access your funds.

Open the 'Settings' tab and press on 'Backup'

You can copy the backup to the clipboard or download the .txt file

Please pay attention to where you download and keep it: choose a safe place and share it with no one. Do not keep it together with your password! Remember that no Guarda team member will ever ask you to provide your backup code.

To sync your web wallet, desktop application, or another device with the Guarda mobile application, you need to import a backup.
