What is my Ledger recovery phrase?

It is a 24-word phrase that is shown to you at the moment the device is initialised after turning it on for the first time; it is provided by your Ledger itself and not by Guarda. Each device comes with a recovery sheet that can be used to write down the recovery phrase. The phrase cannot be changed within Guarda.

It is extremely important that the recovery phrase is not lost, as it will be impossible to restore your assets without it. If you forget to write down your recovery phrase or lose it, losing your device or forgetting your PIN code means you will never be able to get hold of your assets and funds again. Please ensure that it is written down, backed up, and stored in a safe place.
