How to use Guarda Wallet with Firefox private pages?

Due to internal features of the Firefox browser, the data of applications opened in private tabs cannot be saved. Therefore, it needs you to restore the backup every time you refresh the page.

To avoid losing funds, you need to save your backup after every important change. We'd better do the list:

  • Creating a wallet (a whole new backup)
  • Creating a new address in the existing backup (for example, if you want to add a second ETH address)
  • Deleting an address from the backup
  • Changing a password
  • Importing an address with the private key or mnemonics

Keep in mind that Guarda Wallet is a non-custodial service and does not store any of your data on servers, including your backup, passwords, and private keys, all your data is stored only on your device. This means that we won't be able to help you recover your backup if it wasn't saved by you.
